Coronation Street cast: 'You're a sad low life!' Star denies involvement in intimate video

Ex-Coronation Street star Beth Morgan, 23, who was previously an extra on the ITV soap, shared a post in view of her 25,000 Instagram followers which included a screenshot of a blonde female who was filmed performing a sex act on an unidentified male and her denial. Last night, Beth took to the social media site to deny she had any involvement in the video. She shared the picture with a sick emoji, writing: “So this video is being sent around to many people today and apparently it’s me [crying with laughter emoji]. She added: “I can 100 per cent clarify this is NOT me. And any other video in this nature IS NOT ME.”

Today, she hit out further at the unidentified person who she claims “started all this off”.

She ranted: “You’re a sad low life c***! Stealing a few pictures off my Twitter and adding a PORN video in the mix saying it’s me! [Angry emoji].”

Beth added: “I’m seriously getting to boiling point with this now. This s*** is NOT ME!!

“You’re a deluded f*** if you think otherwise! S*** like this don’t need to be sent to my family and friends saying ‘Have you seen this going around of Beth’ IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE ME FFS!!! [Angry emojis].”(sic)

Beth, also a Page Three girl, appeared as an extra Coronation Street for more than five years.

Last year, she briefly played Bethany Platt’s lap dancing friend.

The actress is said to have been dropped from her role as an extra after reportedly being accused of leaking a storyline via her social media accounts, claims Beth denied.

An ITV spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “No such specific conversation has been had about whether we will or won’t use her again.

“But it has been made clear to her and her agent that the photographs she took and posted online should not have happened.”

Following her stint on Coronation Street last year, Beth said she was contacted to appear on ITV2 reality show Love Island.

But the blonde beauty turned it down due to being in a relationship.

She revealed: “They [ITV] contacted me asking if I wanted to do Love Island.

“But, obviously because I have got an other half, I couldn’t.

“They’d want me to be single, but I’m not going to finish with my boyfriend just to go on a reality show.”

She added: “I’d go absolutely bizarre if someone did that to me.”

Coronation Street continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on ITV.
