Thor 4: Chris Hemsworth hints he could CONTINUE in MCU after Avengers Endgame

Thor: Ragnarok, the third solo movie for the God of Thunder, revitalised the character – and Hemsworth has made no secret of the fact it reinvigorated his love of playing the character.

However, Thor is one of many legacy Marvel characters speculated to be killed off in Avengers: Endgame, out later this month.

The all-star epic is billed as the culmination of the entire MCU so far, with the likes of Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr thought to be bowing out.

But in a new interview, Hemsworth has hinted he could come back after all.

So with fans clamouring for a potential Thor 4, could it still happen?

Hemsworth told Ellen: “This is Marvel’s phase three wrapping up a culmination of all this journey.

“Whether they go off and shoot other things or do prequels or sequels or whatever they can do… Loki, my brother’s come back nine times, three times he dies, so who knows whats in store for anyone?!”

He added: “Me personally, it’s the best fun I’ve ever had.

“I’d be happy to do more if they wanted me. More than happy.”

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, Hemsworth also revealed the surprisingly heart-warming story behind one of the most iconic lines he has ever delivered as Thor.

“When we were shooting Ragnarok we had a young kid on set who was unwell at the time, and had come to visit,” he recalled.

“We were shooting the scene with Hulk and Thor in the arena and it was right when I was talking to Hulk and I was saying, ‘oh my God, it’s you, where have you been?’

“[The kid] was on the sideline, and he was like, ‘why don’t you say, when you look up at Loki and the crowd, say “he’s a friend from work!”’

“So the kid gave us that line and it became one of the best lines of the movie.”

Avengers: Endgame is out on April 25 in the UK and is set to be the biggest movie event of the year, and among the top-grossing films of all time.

Tickets were put on sale last week and instantly broke records.
