Pokemon Go Easter event is back after Legendary Lunch Hour TODAY

Pokemon Go fans are counting down to the next major event, as Easter Eggstravaganza returns soon.

The Pokemon Go Easter Eggstravaganza event has been given an April 16 release date.

The event kicks off at 9pm UK time on April 16 and runs until the same time on April 23.

As part of the Eggstravaganza event, Pokemon like Pichu, Smoochum, and Magby will be available in 2 km Eggs.

Egg-focused Field Research will be available during the course of the week-long event.

Niantic explains more: “Every Egg hatched during the event will also include bonus Candy to help you power up your newly hatched Pokemon.

“Buneary is joining in the festivities, and if you’re lucky, you may encounter the Shiny form of this Rabbit Pokemon!”

Other bonuses include double hatch candy, as well as shorter hatch distances.

Needless to say, it’s worth saving those 10KM eggs if you want to hatch some of the rarer Pokemon at speed.

Finally, Lucky Eggs will last twice as long, making it easier to earn lots of XP and level up.

In the meantime, fans can take part in the next Legendary Lunch Hour event today.

Taking place between 12pm and 1pm local time on April 10, the Legendary Lunch hour gives fans the chance to battle against Legendary Pokemon in Raids.

“Excited to raid during Legendary Lunch Hour?” Niantic tweets.

“Remember to connect with your friends and mark your calendars for April 10, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in your local time zone.”

In what is a busy week for Pokemon Go fans, the next Community Day event is also coming up soon.

Check back this weekend for more on the event to capture Bagon.
