Avengers Endgame theory: Which Avenger will DIE first? Is it Captain America? Latest odds

Avengers: Endgame will debut in cinemas on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Fans are expecting a heartwrenching climax when ten years of storytelling are wrapped up. Phase Three of Marvel Cinematic Universe will likely end with many deaths, both of heroes and villains alike.

Which Avenger will die first in Endgame?

Latest odds from SportsBettingTime.com indicate Captain America is the one most likely to die first, with odds of +100.

Following Captain America (Chris Evans) are Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) with +150 and +700 respectively.

These types of odds are called ‘money line’ odds, in which a positive number indicates higher odds, or a lesser likelihood of something coming to pass.

AVENGERS ENDGAME: BOX OFFICE TAKINGS WILL BE HUGE – WHAT WILL THEY BE?

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) are tied at odds of +900 to die first.

Least likely, with odds of +1200, is Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff played by Scarlet Johansson.

Given how many stories directing duo the Russo brothers have to wrap up, these deaths seem almost a given.

Not to mention the contracts for many of these original generation Avengers will be up with Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame has the longest runtimes of any Marvel movie to date and with a decade of plots to wrap up, the extended runtime is understandable.

Fans believe, and it seems likely, the movie will start straight away with the Avengers taking on Thanos but whether they succeed at first or not remains to be seen.

The trailers have yet to give fans a sense of continuity or chronology but they have tantalised fans, with plenty of theories cropping up in the wake of Infinity War.

For those looking to brush up on their Avengers knowledge before Endgame debuts, there are only four movies you really need to watch.

They are Captain America The Winter Soldier, Captain America Civil War, Thor Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War.

As for that extended runtime, Joe Russo, Endgame’s co-director, told ComicBook.com: “I think it’s three hours and 58 seconds. We just sped up the credits is what we did.”

Avengers: Endgame is out in UK cinemas on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
