Lucy Verasamy: ‘A little disappointing’ ITV weather star sparks frenzy in latest forecast

Lucy Verasamy, 38, stunned fans in a tight round-neck top, which featured long sleeves, for the morning forecast. In the update, she said the weather will be a “little disappointing” as below average temperatures continue for much of the UK this week. The ITV weather presenter wrote beside a link of the forecast in front of her 162,000 Twitter followers: “No sign of spring returning just yet.” Lucy Verasamy, 38, told viewers in her latest forecast the weather will be a “little disappointing” as cold temperatures continue for much of the UK.

“Little sunshine so all in all, a little disappointing. Blustery downpours could be lengthy and lively enough to give rumbles of thunder and hail once more.”

“They’ll be hit and miss, particularly across these western and southern zones.

“Further downpours across the north east, the sunshine very limited to those eastern zones and feeling much colder than you’d like it too given the time of year in the wet, wintery, windy conditions.”

The brunette beauty stunned viewers in an all red ensemble with her make-up complimenting her stylish look.

She wore her brunette tresses in her signature loose waves, adding a rouge highlight to her cheeks and a plum lip.

Fans flocked to her Twitter account to praise the weather star on her look as they seemingly appeared unbothered by the cold weather front, as one person tweeted: “It doesn’t matter what the weather is outside, it’s always SUNSHINE when LOVELY Lucy is on TV!!!!”

Another person said: “Absolutely Stunning Spring Lass, if we can’t admire the spring weather, we can admire your beauty when you present the weather forecast.”

While a third person said: “Absolutely stunning Lucy, shame we can’t say the same about the weather.”

Meanwhile, Lucy recently reacted to her fellow co-star Alex Deakin’s picture of him and his co-stars enjoying a day out on Twitter.

The ITV weather favourite hinted she wasn’t impressed with her co-stars outing without her as she asked where her invite was.

Alex, 45, shared a snap of himself with his companions at a golf event with his 15,000 followers.

He wrote: “One more round… #ElGolfo #SpotTheWeatherPresenters,” followed by multiple sunshine emojis.

Lucy responded to the tweet, writing: “Er. Where was my invite?!”

Others reacted to Lucy’s reply with one writing: “They’re to scared to get beat by a lady.”

A second simply commented: “#awks!”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6.30am.
