Amazon is bringing some spring cheer to customers with a huge sale event that is slashing prices on a range of products including the popular Echo smart speaker.
The sale starts today with Amazon saying the price cuts will continue until Monday, April 15.
Some of the biggest savings come to Amazon’s own products with the Echo Input cut to under £20, the Echo Dot now £29.99 and the standard Echo costing just £64.99 – a saving of over £20.
Along with these smart speakers dropping in price, there’s also discounts on 4K TVs, security cameras, Fitbit trackers and headphones.
Amazon also says there will be a range of ‘Deals of the Day’ available in a number of categories every day throughout the period.
And you’ll also find thousands of ‘Lightning Deals’ – products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time – introduced throughout the sale.

The online retailer is enticing customers by revealing new deals as often as every five minutes.
If you prefer to shop on your mobile then the sale is available on the Amazon app with customers able to set Watch-a-Deal alerts so they never miss a favourite deal, track where their parcels are in seconds, and use camera search to quickly find the items they want by pointing and scanning an item or barcode.
If you subscribe to Amazon Prime then there is exclusive 30-minute early access period to all Lightning Deals.
Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery service, Prime Now, will also offer special Spring deals, including an ‘April Showers!’ offer of 20 perc cent off selected shower products and 50 per cent off Easter cards and gift wrap, delivered in two hour delivery windows or within 60 minutes in selected postcodes.
Additionally, Prime members trying out AmazonFresh, the grocery service can save up to 30 per cent on their first order.
