Batista came to the ring escorted by guards after being drivem to the stage in the back of a 4×4 truck.
He typically made his fireworks entrance and wowed the fans with the usual pyrotechincs.
He even looked in pretty fine shape, having been out the ring for such a long time.

But none of that could stop The Animal from FALLING over as he entered the ring through the ropes.
Fans on Twitter were quick to note the accident, and most couldn’t contain their laughter at the situation.
One said: “Batista trip through the ropes lol.”
Another went with: “Dat Batista trip though lol.”
One wrote: “YOOOO is Batista high or something??? Did this guy REALLY trip off the rope???

One felt sorry for one of his WWE heroes: “Love my boy Batista but that trip was bad.”
The match began brutally as Triple H began working on Batista’s hand with a wrench.
It then got even more sadistic as Batista had his nose ring ripped out by Triple H who used scissors to do so.
