Prince Harry and William ‘do not look very happy' together after Kate and Meghan feud

Prince Harry and Prince William have been at the heart of some speculation in recent months after reports of a feud between their wives came to light.

It was recently confirmed that the brothers would official separate their royal households, with Prince Harry moving his office to Buckingham Palace, while Prince William’s will stay at Kensington Palace.

Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan have also moved out of Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, where he once lived close to his brother and sister-in-law Kate, and into Frogmore House in Windsor.

So how did the pair seem on Thursday night?

According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Prince William is “displaying an odd facial expression.”

He added: “It’s not a genuine smile of enjoyment because the whole face is not engaged and we do not see any crows feet, the tiny wrinkles by the eyes which display happiness.”

On the other hand, the younger brother, Harry, looked more confident at the event. Darren said: “Harry’s posture is quite confident in this picture. He is also displaying a genuine emotion of happiness and this is a genuine smile.”

Prince Charles, 70, and David Attenborough, 92, happily chatted away with what seemed to be a genuine fondness, Darren said.

He explained: “We see Attenborough and Charles in a conversation, the pair are matching and mirroring each other posture which means that they have a genuine rapport with each other.”

Harry and William look less engaged, the body language expert explained, but this could be attributed to the weather. He said: “The pair are flanked by the Princes. I’m not sure if it’s very cold or not but Prince Harry appears to be rubbing his hands from the cold, while William is plays with his jacket looking uninterested.”

However, in another image the two brothers both appeared to be less than happy, according to the body language expert. He told Express.co.uk: “William and Harry do not look very happy.”

Speculating as to the reason for this, the expert alluded to the recent reported feud between their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, both 37.

He said: “Is this from having to be on public show together given the recent alleged feud between the two? Either way, it’s not the body language or facial expressions of someone having a good time.”

An expert has previously claimed Prince William finds Meghan Markle difficult.

Author of ‘Untitled: The Real Wallace Simpson, The Duchess of Windsor’ and ‘A Princess in Love’, Anna Pasternak appeared on Yahoo’s ongoing series, The Royal Box today.

She said rumours of a rift between the couples are “undoubtedly true”.

Anna said: “I think that Prince William is very responsible and as I said knows what his role is and Kate has come alongside that executed that extremely well and I think it’s quite difficult to have had Meghan who have seems to want to modernise and set her own agenda and you can’t have it all.”

Who is Meghan Markle? Quick profile

Meghan Markle was born Rachel Meghan Markle, on August 4, 1981 to parents Doria Ragland and father Thomas Markle.

Her father was previously married to Roslyn Loveless and Meghan has two elder half sibling – sister Samantha Markle and brother Thomas Markle Junior.

Actress

Meghan’s first television appearance in the USA was in an episode of the medical drama General Hospital in 2002.

She later moved on to roles in CSI, Without a Trace and Castle along with bit parts in Hollywood films including Get Him to the Greek, Remember Me and Horrible Bosses.

Meghan was also a “briefcase girl” on Deal or No Deal – but her most famous role was as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits, which launched in 2011.

She was written out in the finale of the seventh series when her character got married, which aired in April 2018 – just before she got married herself.

Charity and humanitarian work

Meghan Markle’s career in television has gone hand-in-hand with her support for causes close to her heart.

She wrote about the stigma around menstrual health in an article for Time magazine and was a Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada – with whom she travelled to Rwanda for the charity’s Clean Water Campaign.

And her commitment to gender equality has seen her work with the United Nations – receiving a standing ovation in 2015 for her speech to mark International Women’s Day.

Relationships

In September 2011, she wed film producer Trevor Engelson, who she began dating in 2004.

But the pair divorced two years later in August 2013, citing irreconcilable difference.

She was in a relationship with celebrity chef Cory Vitiello for almost two years, before they broke it off in 2016 but the two remain good friends.

And in June 2016, she met Prince Harry on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.

Their relationship began in October that year and just over one year later, on November 27, 2017, the pair announced their engagement.

They married on May 19, 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Meghan’s heritage

Some have claimed Meghan Markle is the first mixed-race member of the Royal Family.

Historians are still arguing about Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III.

But Meghan will be the first royal to openly embrace a mixed-race heritage.

She has written about the difficulties of being a biracial actress in Hollywood as she claims she is not black enough for some roles and not white enough for others.
