Coronation Street viewers saw Carla Connor (played by Alison King) receive a bizarre text message from Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) earlier this week, even though she died during the Underworld Factory roof collapse.
Alongside this, official soap spoilers have revealed how one Weatherfield resident is going to hijack Rana’s social media accounts to target Carla in more than one way.
But who is behind these nasty messages and can Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) help her work it out?
It comes as the initial is going to be placed on Kate Connor (Faye Brooks) as some sort of revenge.
Following the tragic death of her fiancé, fans have seen Kate outraged with anger as her grief takes over, lashing out at her sister for being irresponsible over the factory roof’s safety.
But, as she denies the accusation another twist in the storyline is added, she conducts her own investigation into the bizarre text messages.
Attempting to find the person who has Rana’s phone, is this just Kate covering her own tracks?
Meanwhile, Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) is the next person to be accused.
He has been frustrated with the police for not investigating Carla further, convinced and point blank blaming her for his sisters death.
Considering he and Rana were extremely close, it is highly likely that he had access to her social media accounts and passwords. But would he go as far as sending chilling messages to Carla just to haunt her?
As for the other family members, there have been some suggestions Saira Habeeb (Kim Vithana) is playing games with Carla.
She suddenly appeared the day after Rana’s death and has caused trouble ever since she arrived.
Coronation Street viewers will know how Rana and Saira’s relationship was not on the best terms, having fallen out following Rana’s decision to seek a divorce from her husband and then coming out as gay.
Nevertheless, Saira was understanding about her daughter’s sexuality and was eventually coming round to the idea of her marrying Kate.
Although she refused to attend the wedding, she did express interest in reconciling with her daughter in the future.

But now Rana is dead, is she angry at Carla for allowing the incident to happen?
Following on from this, Carla is going to experience deep anxiety and paranoia as her mental health is set to deteriorate.
It comes as the soap have revealed the former knicker factory boss is going to find herself struggling to cope with the constant accusations and blame.
So much so, upcoming scenes have show her reaching a place of mania.
With no other choice but to run away hoping she can escape the voices in her head, Carla will find herself sleeping rough on the streets.
