Conor McGregor vs Khabib: Angry UFC pros condemn feud – ‘Integrity? Respect? HONOUR!’

The two fighters endure a torrid relationship, consistently exchanging written jibes online and verbal and physical spats in person. The UFC stars have been involved in a personal back and forth on Twitter which resulted in UFC chairman, Dana White being forced to intervene. The row centred around personal comments made by McGregor about Khabib’s wife.

Mr White interjected after McGregor posted an offensive comment which although was later deleted, forced the UFC star to issue an apology.

Khabib also hit back in a number of offensive tweets.

And now the likes of Gilbert Burns and Siyar Bahadurzada have had their say on the spat.

Burns said: “Shame of this posts.

“I don’t like that at all such a bad example.

“Money is good, is necessary but it’s not everything come on.

“Integrity? Respect? Honour? Words that people don’t use anymore.”

Bahadurzada added on Twitter: “Bringing religion and family into fight business might end up in killings in MMA and will ban the sport in many civil and decent countries.”

Other shocked competitors included Joe Giannetti and Nasrat Haqparast.

Many believe they have started a row with the intention of building up excitement before a rumoured rematch.

The pair fought in October 2018 and following Khabib’s victory a mass brawl broke out.

They haven’t been in the ring since.
