Avengers 4 Endgame CinemaCon scene: WHERE Thanos went and HOW Avengers fight him

With just three weeks to go until Avengers 4 finally hits cinemas, fans are getting closer to finding out how it all ends. Or, more importantly, how it all starts again. One of the year’s biggest industry events is taking place this week in Las Vegas and all the major studios have been showing new footage from their biggest blockbusters. The Disney presentation at CinemaCon included a full scene from Endgame which revealed how the Avengers will find Thanos, and the rising prominence of Nebula and Captain Marvel in the new team dynamic.

WARNING: SPOILERS FROM HERE

Infinity War ended with Thanos using the Space Stone (and, some suspect, the Time Stone) to portal away from Earth. Where did he go? How will the remaining heroes find him?

Trailer and teaser footage has already shown the gathered heroes meeting Captain Marvel. In the new clip, Nebula tells them Thanos always used to boast to her that he would return to “The Garden” when his work was done.

Captain Marvel is also established as part of the team in one telling moment when the Avengers logically wonder what would be different this time when they face Thanos and she quietly says: “Me.”

More than that, she may also be the key to tracking Thanos, thanks to the way she got her powers in the first place.

Since she derives her powers from the Space Stone, the Avengers can use her energy signal to track a corresponding signal from the Stone itself.

The clip shows the Avengers realise Thanos has used the stones again and they can pinpoint his location.

This leads to the scenes shown with the majority of the team taking Rocket’s spaceship and heading out to face the Mad Titan.

Captain Marvel, Bruce Banner, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Nebula, Rhodey and Rocket are all shown on board, but a few major heroes are missing.

Where are Iron Man and Ant-Man?

Numerous rumours suggest they will have a separate mission into the Quantum Realm, but then why is Iron Man shown suited up with the team in that iconic walk across the hangar in the trailers?

Will he and Ant-Man carry out a separate mission first and then join the Avengers for a white-suited adventure a the movie’s climax?

All will be revealed in a few weeks.

AVENGERS ENDGAME IS OUT ON APRIL 25
