The Walking Dead season 10 spoilers: Daryl Dixon star drops HUGE bombshell on his future

The Walking Dead season nine has come to an end and fans could breathe a huge sigh of relief because Daryl Dixon (played by Norman Reedus) survived.

He didn’t end up being one of the many characters whose head ended up on a pike or who decided to go on their own adventures.

Norman Reedus has become one of the main stars of the show over the years, and after Andrew Lincoln’s departure and Danai Gurira’s imminent exit, his importance on the show has risen.

The 50-year-old actor has been on the show since the very first season, and he revealed he has no intention of leaving any time soon.

“I don’t want to go anywhere,” Reedus recently told the Entertainment Tonight during a recent interview.

“I’ll burn down that whole studio if they got rid of me,” he added.

He also noted that he knows that “you never know” when your time will be up.

Reedus added: “I always said I wanted to just walk off into the sunset with a dog, but now so many people are doing that, that I don’t know.”

“I don’t know how I’d want to die,” he revealed.

“I don’t want to die ever, so I don’t want to put it out there.”

He finished: “I don’t want to give anyone any ideas.”

It does seem as though the show’s main characters have been dropping like flies around Daryl.

The arrival of one of the most dangerous villains the show has ever seen, The Whisperers, has led to a whole slew of characters being killed.

Season nine saw the zombie skin-wearing survivors kill Jesus (Tom Payne).

Then Alpha (Samantha Morton) chose to kidnap ten characters and put their heads on pikes to send the other survivors a message.
