Shroud vs Dr Disrespect: Fans vote in battle of the Twitch streamers, the Doc is NOT happy

Dr Disrespect and shroud were pitted against one another in a Twitch poll that thousands voted on.

The fan vote took place during the Apex Legends Twitch Rivals tournament yesterday.

During the competition Dr Disrespect took a bit of a breather to see what the results were from the Twitch poll.

It asked gamers questions such as what was their favourite legend in Apex Legends among other things.

The fourth question in the poll caught the eye of Dr Disrespect, which simply asked “Dr Disrespect or shroud?”

The Doc clearly voted for himself, but when the results appeared on screen he was far from pleased.

Shroud had been clinching a landslide victory, with 8,000 voting in favour of shroud compared to the Doc’s 2,000 votes.

The big result in favour of shroud left Dr Disrespect far from pleased, with the Twitch streamer doing a trademark desk slam.

Afterwards the Doc calmed down and explained to his teammates what had sparked his fury.

He said: “I was taking this poll on Twitch Rivals and noticed the percentages on one of the questions and wasn’t too happy”.

His explanation led to a few chuckles of laughter from his teammates.

While Dr Disrespect lost out in the poll it was the Doc and his teammates TSM_Viss and Kraftyy that won the in-game battle.

DrDisrespect’s team beat shroud, who was teamed up with two former Counter Strike Global Offensive players, by 57 points to 49.

In other Twitch news, shroud this week made a return to Twitch after suffering a major injury.

As reported on in a post by Dexerto, during shroud’s comeback stream he told an incredible story about his surgery.

Shroud said: “One of the doctors before I went into surgery recognised me.

“He told my surgeon who I was, and they really quickly Googled a typical posture when you’re playing on keyboard and mouse with your elbow.

“So my surgeon changed his procedure… so that I wouldn’t be resting on my incision if I play.”

Shroud added: “Instead of giving me a straight incision, he gave me a rounded incision around my elbow.

“Instead of going straight down on my elbow through my tricep, he did like a ‘U’… On top of that he moved the metal plate one or two inches higher so I wouldn’t be resting on the metal plate when I play as well.”
