Ivanka Trump wears £1750 outfit for flight before enjoying applause at White House meeting

Ivanka Trump, 37, was joined in Mar-a-Lago by her husband, children, father and step-mother Melania Trump. For the return from the sunshine state of Florida to the chilly climes of Washington, Ivanka wore a £1104 coat from Mansur Gavriel. The sleek oatmeal coloured item kept her well-covered, giving no hint as to what she was wearing underneath. She paired the item with toffee coloured patent Manolo Blahnik pumps, £510.

A pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, £136, kept her eyes shaded from the setting sun.

She completed the look with a pair of thick gold hoop earrings.

The holiday didn’t continue for Ivanka, and she was straight back to work in the White House on her return to Washington.

Attending a meeting to celebrate the First Step Act, Ivanka beamed as she was applauded by others in attendance.

The First Step Act passed Congress with bipartisan support in December 2018, with more than 500 inmates released as a result.

For her first meeing of the week, Ivanka wore a simple black sleeveless polo neck top.

She teamed this with black trousers which featured a red stripe down the leg.

Sticking to her favoured style, Ivanka wore her hair poker straight in a middle parting, letting it hang over her shoulders.

A pale berry lipstick added a pop of colour to her otherwise plain outfit.

Ivanka has a penchant for expensive clothing, and this certainly hasn’t changed since she made her way to the White House.

The First Daughter has been seen in a number of glamorous outfits since Donald Trump became president, but the first one she wore since he stepped into his new role is thought to be the most expensive.

The businesswoman turned heads when she wore a green stretch wool dress and matching coat to the Arlington National Cemetery for the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown in 2017.

The two-piece outfit was from American-Dominic fashion label, Oscar de la Renta, and the pricey outfit totalled an eye-watering $6,280, or around £4,750.

The outfit was emerald green and she paired the woollen dress with a matching waterfall coat.

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.

Ivanka now focuses on her role as an advisor to the President, Donald Trump.
