Lucifer season 4 spoilers: Chloe Decker easter-egg hints towards HUGE twist?

Lucifer (played by Tom Ellis) viewers are no strangers to finding secret clues hidden around the episodes of the show.

And the final season is sure to be filled with a number of secrets as well. However fans of the show have been working through episodes from seasons one-to-three for easter eggs.

While there are a large amount of episodes to comb through, fans on the Lucifer Subreddit have found a slight nod in the show.

It features an image of Chloe Decker (Lauren German) in her kitchen leaning over the sink, however the camera passes over a children’s drawing of a devil.

This looks to be the drawing of Beatrice “Trixie” Espinoza (Scarlett Estevez) – Chloe’s daughter.

Lucifer has never truly hidden his identity from anyone in the show, but Trixie has always been quite keen to learn more about him as soon as he began working with Chloe.

Despite his blatant claims that he is actually the devil, many people don’t believe Lucifer as he looks human – but could Trixie see his true form the entire time?

The user who posted the image online commented: “The drawing on the left looks familiar…”

However other fans began pointing out: “There are tons of devil pictures hidden in lots of the scenes! I love the little things like that about this show.”

But could these recurring demon or devil images arriving throughout the show be hinting towards something bigger?

As Lucifer roams around the streets of Los Angeles proclaiming his real identity, could the truth about heaven and hell be on its way to the human world?

Although unlikely, the details about the fourth season of the show have not yet been revealed, and could certainly venture into unknown territory.

Speaking of uncharted territory for the show, fans have been inquiring whether Lucifer’s father would be making an appearance in the upcoming season.

Last season his mother previously appeared on the show, and now fans are calling for the father of the Devil to drop in.

Speaking out on Reddit one fan suggested: “Would anyone like to see ‘Dad’ drop by the penthouse in season four? And by ‘Dad’ I mean Steve Buscemi playing God in Miracle Workers (on TBS)!”

Another added: “As Dad doesn’t have a physical form, he could appear looking like anyone (the way mum did), and the thought of poor Lucifer trying to reason with Buscemi’s interpretation of the Almighty has me on the floor!”

With a third jumping in to say: “Tom Ellis has brilliant comedy chops. I’d love to see him playing off Buscemi’s humour!”

But one fan suggested the father should be played by the Lucifer creator Neil Gaiman.

They explained: “I feel like the only person worthy of playing ‘Dad’ would be Neil Gaiman himself. That would be perfect!”

Lucifer season four will stream on Netflix in 2019.
