Zion Williamson OUT of March Madness: NBA fans immediately predict his next move

Duke entered the NCAA tournament as the No 1 overall seed, party due to the performance of Williamson throughout the regular season.

Tre Jones, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish were also key for Duke, but it was Williamson who was proving to be the crowd pleaser and main attraction.

And Williamson lived up to the hype in the opening three round of March Madness, taking over on the scoring end as well as bossing the glass on both ends.

But Michigan State proved too much for the young Duke side, who were able to keep Williamson at bay in the closing stages of the game.

Duke had a chance to win the game in the final few seconds but were unable to get a shooting opportunity before Michigan State ran out the clock.

It means Williamson’s college career comes to an end with the NBA draft just under two months away.

And NBA fans up and down the country are dreaming of seeing their team select the teenage sensation with the No 1 overall pick.

One fan tweeted: “Zion Williamson’s next game will hopefully be in a Knicks uniform.”

Another said: “Is Zion’s next game in a Bulls uniform?”

A third wrote: “Zion’s next stop: The Cleveland Cavaliers.”

A fourth posted: “The next time Zion plays in a basketball game it’ll be for the Spurs.”
