If the OnePlus 7 looks this good its Android rivals should be very afraid

If OnePlus follows its usual release cycle then we should expect the new OnePlus 7 to be shown to the world in May.

This is usually when the Chinese company unveils its first device of the year and 2019 looks set to be another exciting time for fans of this popular brand.

Although not confirmed, it seems this updated device will arrive packing a swathe of new features including a fully edge-to-edge screen, triple rear camera and more power under the hood courtesy of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.

These brains are some of the fastest in the business and OnePlus almost always brings the latest chip to its phones.

There’s already been a number of leaks that have shown how this new device will look but a video from the team at ConceptCreators may have just given fans their best view yet at what is to come.

The short YouTube clip, which has already been viewed over 250,000 times, shows the device sporting a trio of cameras on the rear glass case and the fully edge-to-edge screen which appears totally notch-free.

Unlike most of the latest devices which either include a notch or camera punched through the screen, it seems OnePlus is opting for a front-facing snapper that will magically pop up from inside the phone.

This is seen in the video with the lens appearing and then retracting from the top of the case.

These latest renders certainly look impressive and this could be one of the best mid-range devices of 2019.

OnePlus has a habit of shaking the market with feature-packed phones that cost less than their flagship rivals.

However, if OnePlus does opt for the pop-up camera it will interesting to see just how well it works in the real world.

There have been concerns about other devices, such as the Oppo Find X, that have included the same technology with worries about the moving parts breaking or the camera getting damaged if the device is dropped.

We’ll have to wait and see just how it performs but the all-screen design certainly adds plenty of wow factor.
