There are just four weeks to go until all is revealed. Fans are not just desperate to know how the fallen heroes from Infinity War will return, however. There is also increasing fear that some beloved central characters will also die, and not be coming back. A new leak from a rather loose-lipped actor working on the Spanish language dubbing just revealed some major plot spoilers.
Media sites in Spain picked up the story and then it has been translated around the world.
Of course, it contains potential spoilers so do not read beyond this point if you don’t want to know any more.
Spanish actor Sergio Zurita provides the Spanish dubbing for Rocket Raccoon and let slip some of what he knows before trying to stop himself from revealing anything more.
He said; “I can tell you the film with talk you from laughter to tears. A key character dies. I can’t say more. I don’t know if I already said too much.”
Well, yes and no.
It will surprise nobody if there are some more major losses in Endgame but this seems to absolutely confirm it.
Fangs are most worried about Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. The actors Robert Downy Jr and, in particular, Chris Evans are at the end of their Marvel contracts and Evans already tweeted “thank you for the memories on his last day of filming,” implying he was done for good.
But the new leak also points to another beloved and central Avenger.
Zurita also said: “Irreversible things happen. (It’s) very interesting what happens to Thor.”
He added: “There’s a conversation between Rocket and.. No, I believe I can’t say any more.”
So, something massive is going to happen to Thor, and it sounds like it will be something people do not expect. Could he be the one who sacrifices himself? That’s certainly “irreversible.”
And who is the mystery conversation with? Again, Thor has forged a new close bond with Rocket, although Zurita could easily be referring to any of the failed Guardians, who are expected to be brought back somehow.
Zurita also revealed that Rocket is “so sad” when in the past he was “always angry and firing bullets,” now he is “lost in thoughts.”
