The Grand Tour season 3 spoilers: Jeremy Clarkson FUMING as he’s forced to ‘sleep rough’

The Grand Tour season three has seen its presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond travel all over the world.

However, it turns out it wasn’t the long holiday many people expect it was, since Clarkson revealed that he had to stop drinking alcohol while filming scenes in Mongolia.

The 58-year-old and his co-presenters packed everything they would need for seven days, and they weren’t allowed to pack any alcohol at all, and to make things worse, they were also forced to sleep rough.

‘Mongolia was nuts, although what made Mongolia nuts is that the producers packed everything we would need for seven days, and they didn’t pack a single, tiny bit of alcohol,’ Clarkson told Mirror Online.

He then added: “We had to sleep rough, we didn’t have much food, and then there was no drink.”

He went on to suggest that the producers’ decision to deprive him and his Grand Tour co-stars of alcohol was a “deliberate ploy”.

“Although nobody’s admitting to it,” he added.

The upcoming episode will see The Grand Tour presenters test out motorised luggage in Stansted airport.

However, the new trailer for this episode showed a moment when Clarkson accidentally hit an elderly passenger while testing one of the motorised vehicles.

In the clip, he knocks him to the ground, sending the sunglasses flying in the scene – which is clearly staged – Clarkson could simply be heard shouting “s**t sorry” as he carried on his adventurous journey in one of the most hilarious moments of the series yet.

As the clip continues, the presenter is stopped by a guard going through security, who then pulls out of his bag a selection of small clear plastic bags each containing a suspicious-looking white powder.

The scanner beeps, and Clarkson says: “Oh here we go.”

Long-time co-host Richard Hammond gives a knowing side glance at Clarkson, who rebels against the rules and pokes fun at protocol.

“I mean I put them in clear bags,” Clarkson noted.

Clarkson went on to list what each packet was: “Talcum powder, self-raising flour, that’s for my Athlete’s foot. Every single airport.”

The airport scene also raised the question of exactly where the trio were going.

Exciting adventures are becoming more frequent for the presenters as they prepare for season four, which will consist of specials as they prepare to ditch the studio format of the show.

Last week’s episode saw the trio travel from the Black Sea in Georgia to the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan as they each tried out a different car.

In the episode, Clarkson drove the new Aston Martin DBS, Hammond was in the new Bentley Continental GT, and James May was behind the wheel of the even newer BMW 8 Series.

The Grand Tour season three continues Friday on Amazon Prime.
