Ivanka Trump style: The cost of her most expensive look since becoming First Daughter

Ivanka Trump is the businesswoman who has also made a name for herself in the fashion industry.

Not only is she a former model, but Donald Trump’s daughter ran her namesake fashion company for 11-years.

After closing the business when Donald Trump became president of the United States, she has gone onto become his senior advisor and has stepped out in a number of enviable outfits while taking on this role.

During her time as a model she walked for designers such as Paco Rabanne and Vivienne Westwood and appears to have stuck to her love for designer clothes ever since.

What was Ivanka’s most expensive outfit and how much did it cost?

Ivanka has been seen in a number of glamorous outfits since Donald Trump became president, but the first one she wore since he stepped into his new role is thought to be the most expensive.

The businesswoman turned heads when she wore a green stretch wool dress and matching coat to the Arlington National Cemetery for the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown in 2017.

The two-piece outfit was from American-Dominic fashion label, Oscar de la Renta, and the pricey outfit totalled an eye-watering $6,280, or around £4,750.

The outfit was emerald green and she paired the woollen dress with a matching waterfall coat.

Now two years into the role, the political advisor is often spotted in designer clothes.

In the past few months alone, she has stepped out in a number of pricey outfits when completing her role.

Last month, she wore a two-piece light pink suit, thought to be by Markarian, which retails at £2,750.

Ivanka was also pictured wearing a vibrant $4,300 dress, or around £3,334, by Oscar de la Renta.

This orange cocktail dress was cut to her ankles and sparked debate for its controversial look, as it was bright and featured bold leafy detailing.

As well as her designer frocks, Ivanka has been seen in more reasonably-priced outfits as she has attended events.

Just a few months after wearing her most expensive outfits, the First Daughter went out in Washington wearing a Victoria Beckham for Target dress that cost just $35, or around £26.

Last month, Ivanka attended the annual Gridiron Club and Foundation dinner with her husband Jared Kushner, and the duo both scrubbed up for the occasion.

The 37-year-old posted a snap of herself standing beside Jared, and she wore a figure-hugging floor-length dress.

The outfit is thought to be by Markarian, and retails at £2,750.

Featuring spaghetti straps and a scoop neckline, the bodice then drew attention to her slender waist.

Ivanka wore her blonde hair in sleek curls, and went accessory-free in the snap she posted online.

Religion

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Career

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.
