Queen Letizia of Spain style: Chic royal stuns in red as she wears high-street Zara outfit

Queen Letizia and King Felipe of Spain are on day two of an official visit to Argentina.

The stylish royal joined her husband as they attended a meeting with members of the Spanish Community today.

They are currently on the first state trip to the country by a Spanish monarch for 16-years.

Queen Letizia wore a long-sleeved asymmetric red top with matching trousers thought to be from Zara as she attended the event.

The monarch was seen waving to the crowds at the meeting in La Rural Convention and Exhibition Centre in Buenos Aires.

One side of the red top cut off at her hip while the other side had an asymmetric hem which slit down to her knee.

She complimented the top with a pair of wide-leg matching red trousers.

To complete the look, Queen Letizia wore a broach in the shape of a bee.

The chic royal mixed high street with luxury with a pair of designer heels.

Queen Letizia wore a pair of navy Nina Ricci navy stilettos.

Although these aren’t available online, a similar pair is on sale for £263.

She matched this with a Magrit handbag which was also in navy.

Opting for a simple make-up look, Queen Letizia wore a slick of bronzer on her cheeks and clear lip gloss.

Her hair was styled into a bouncy blow-dry and small gold and red hoops could be seen underneath.

The teal midi dress had a fitted bodice, and billowed outwards.

The floor length ready to wear version is currently for sale online for £6,406.16 – although Saks Fifth Avenue are, at the time of writing, offering a discount of $250 (around £189).

The most striking part of her outfit, however, was a pair of earrings by BVLGARI.
