Ivanka Trump’s SMUG response as she quotes ICONIC leader after Mueller report

US President Donald Trump had been the subject of a report from Robert Mueller into alleged criminal collusion with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. In the tweet she quoted Abraham Lincoln.

She wrote: “Truth is generally the best vindication against slander.”

Her comment came after a defiant Trump added: “No collusion, no obstruction, complete and total exoneration.

“Keep America Great!”

Critics savaged the First Daughter on the social media platform.

The reference to Mr Lincoln was the second time in recent days that the Trump administration had mentioned the former President.

At a recent event in Mar-a-Lago last weekend, a note depicting Mr Lincoln wearing one of Trump’s iconic ‘Keep America Great’ baseball caps.

A picture of this circulated widely on social media, with co-founder of the Democratic Coalition Scott Dworkin condemning the image as “disgusting.”

On Monday, Kushner Inc author Vicky Ward claimed Ivanka believes she will eventually become President.

Ms Ward said Trump’s “greatest weakness” is his daughter after conducting 220 interviews.

The book accused the First Daughter and her husband Jared Kushner of being “power-hungry”.
