WWE RAW PREVIEW: Roman Reigns return, Ronda Rousey WrestleMania update, Kurt Angle status

Roman Reigns returns

Roman Reigns will return tonight on RAW to address Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania 35 challenge.

Reigns was absent from last week’s show due to kayfabe reasons as WWE claimed he was healing from his injuries following McIntyre’s assault.

The Scottish Psychopath then challenged The Big Dog to a fight at Mania on April 7 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Fans should expect the four-time world champion to accept.

Beth Phoenix comeback

Beth Phoenix has decided to come out of retirement for one more WrestleMania moment to challenge WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Phoenix has joined forces with her longtime friend Natalya and made her intentions known last week.

However, the WWE Hall of Famer and The Queen of Harts are facing even more competition as Nia Jax and Tamina are lurking for the right time to challenge for the titles again.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics also picked up a surprise victory over Banks and Bayley on SmackDown.

The WWE Universe should expect WWE to announce a Fatal 4-Way Match between the aforementioned teams at WrestleMania soon.

Kurt Angle in action

Kurt Angle’s farewell tour continues tonight on RAW with his toughest challenge yet as he will take on US Champion Samoa Joe.

Angle will retire after WrestleMania when he undergoes his last match ever against Baron Corbin.

The 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist has been testing himself ahead of his Mania match and has beaten Apollo Crews as well as Chad Gable in singles competition.

Tonight he will rekindle his rivalry with his former TNA foe, who is also preparing for a title defence against Rey Mysterio at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Ronda Rousey punishment

Ronda Rousey has turned heel and adopted a meaner character as she has continuously lashed out at the WWE Universe, assaulted officials, bludgeoned her opposition and disrespected the sport.

Two weeks ago Rousey was slapped with an undisclosed fine after she slapped a referee across the face.

Last week the RAW Women’s Champion put her hands on a security official and her husband Travis Browne levelled another one with a right elbow.

Browne has been banned from RAW but what will the UFC Hall of Famer’s punishment be shortly after WWE announced she will headline WrestleMania with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair?

WrestleMania update

Braun Strowman announced he will participate in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

Strowman will be looking to release his aggression on the entire roster during the over-the-top-rope battle royal following his intense interaction with Saturday Night Live cast members Michael Che and Colin Jost.

WWE hinted that more superstars will announce their participation in the annual bout.
