Spider-Man Far From Home trailer 2: REAL REASON held back until after Avengers Endgame?

Last year the first trailer for Spider-Man Far From Home arrived, teasing what looks like a light-hearted and fun summer blockbuster. However, the only problem is Peter Parker died in Avengers Infinity War, meaning that surely the film’s existence is a big spoiler that Spider-Man is somehow resurrected in next month’s Avengers Endgame? After all, this is no prequel.

It’s rumoured Marvel Studios didn’t want Spider-Man Far From Home to release until Summer 2020 to avoid spoilers.

However, the rights to Spider-Man are owned by Sony Pictures who allegedly wanted the film to land this summer.

And today three new posters for Far From Home arrived, but oddly no trailer followed.

Hollywood Insider Daniel Richtman tweeted: “No 2nd trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home until after Endgame is out because next trailer will have major spoilers in it.”

WHO IS MYSTERIO?

But just what could those spoilers be exactly?

MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad tweeted: “Hmm I wonder what kind of major spoiler they want to hide…

“Oh yea… [skull emoji].”

By the sounds of it Avengers Endgame will feature some major deaths – but who in particular is most likely to kick the bucket?

‘FANS BE CAREFUL, MARVEL MIGHT JUST KNOCK YOU OUT’

Well, it’s no coincidence that the survivors of Avengers Infinity War are the original Avengers team.

And with a few major stars leaving the franchise, does this mean they will kick the bucket?

Certainly, Iron Man seems a likely contender to die as Peter Parker’s mentor. Dying to resurrect Spider-Man would be a perfect end to Tony Stark’s character arc.

Avengers Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 25, 2019, and Spider-Man Far From Home will follow on July 3.
