The Spanish royals met with Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri, Argentina’s first lady Juliana Awada, who also looked stunning.

Juliana looked beautiful in a navy blue dress with small glittery dots on it.

She added black heels to the look, and her hair was worn in a glamorous half up half down vibe.

However, her ensemble lack the glamour of earrings with a royal history.

Queen Letizia wore a £5,000 outfit from the Culture Awards with King Felipe.

She wore another pair of stunning earrings on the night.

She added the finishing touch to the look with a pair of black diamond string earrings from TOUS.

These were the priciest part of her look, costing £4,500.

She has had these since May 2016, and often wears them.

Career

Letizia was already famous in her native Spain thanks to a career as a TV presenter and journalist.

She even won an award for best Spanish journalist under 30 in 2002, just before she met King Felipe.

Wedding

Felipe and Letizia Ortiz, as she was called then, wed in 2004.

She wore a long-sleeved wedding dress with a 15 foot train by Manuel Pertegaz.

As is custom with royal weddings, Letizia wore a tiara. Her diamond and platinum Prussian tiara is a German imperial heirloom created in 1913 by Koch for Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia’s wedding to Prince Ernst August.

Letizia is the eldest of three daughters, with her middle sister tragically taking her own life in 2007.
