The pregnant star uploaded a series of stunning shots to her Instagram account today from her hike up Mount Teide in Tenerife with her beau, Gorka Marquez, 28.
Gemma Atkinson, 34, looked phenomenal as she showed off her blossoming bump in a pair of blue jogging bottoms teamed with a matching top.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant looked glowing as she posed with her hands up in the air and beamed to the camera.
She captioned the array of holiday pictures: “Last week me and Gorks climbed Mount Teide.”
Explaining her route, she said: “(it’s a drive, cable car and flat walk before the pregnancy police start on me).”
Gemma went on to reveal it was an emotional day as the trip brought back special memories for her.
“I haven’t been here since my dad passed away,” she spilled. “We used to come every year and do the hike so it was bitter sweet, but I know he somehow helped drag me up there.”
Gemma’s 954,000 followers replied to her post in support with many saying she shouldn’t have to defend herself.
One fan said: “@glouiseatkinson you do whatever you like, your body and baby. You are amazing.”
Another praised: “You go for it… as long as you feel ok .. why should anyone else preach #glouiseatkinson.”
A third added: “Please don’t feel you ever have to make an excuse because of the ‘pregnancy police’.”
On her Instagram story, the fitness star filmed herself talking to the camera whilst half way through her climb.
She said: “We’ve come to Mount Teide in Tenerife, it’s basically a volcano, dormant volcano, thank God.”
Gemma continued: “I used to come here with my mum and dad, haven’t come here since my dad was alive. So it’s nice to come back.”
Pulling a sad expression to the camera, the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star added: “Bless him.”
“Look at the views as well,” she went on. “We’re only like half way up, got to go further yet.”
Yesterday, the beauty revealed she was a little bit sunburnt after spending a day enjoying the hot weather.
Showing off her sun-kissed face, Gemma said: “Burnt my nose today. I was doing really well then I was reading a book outside.”
She added: “Now I look like Rudolph.”
