Dele Alli trolls England team-mate Raheem Sterling in brutal Instagram video

The Manchester City winger has been on fire all season with 24 goals in 44 games for club and country so far.

But he was caught cold as he fell victim to a prank from Three Lions team-mate Alli in the build-up to tonight’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Montenegro.

Sterling appeared to be enjoying a well-earned nap during the preparations when Tottenham midfielder Alli snuck up on him.

In a video posted to his official Instagram account, Alli can be seen licking his finger before wiggling it in his pal’s ear.

Sterling stays fast asleep throughout the ordeal before looking startled after being abruptly woken up when Alli puts his hand on his nose.

Alli posted the video for his 6million Instagram followers along with a caption that read”: “What’s @sterlign7 dreaming about?”

The pair are due to line up together again when Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions take on Montenegro in Group G.

Sterling should start on the left of a three-man attack once more with Harry Kane through the middle.

Jadon Sancho played on the right against the Czechs but could miss tonight’s game with an unspecified injury.

Reports claim Callum Hudson-Odoi will come into the side in his place and be handed his first start after coming off the bench on Friday to become England’s youngest-ever debutant in a competitive fixture.

Southgate’s team go into the clash as big favourites but the manager has warned his players to expect a hostile atmosphere.

England’s players were targeted with missiles in Podgorica in 2013 and Southgate is preparing them for more of the same.

“That is the sort of challenge our players have faced many times before,” he said.

“I know the passion the supporters have for their country and of course that gives a huge lift to their own team.

”We have to make sure our discipline is right and we focus on what we can affect.

“We are guests here, so we will be very respectful about how we speak about the opposition.

“Our players have to be prepared for hostile environments, whether it is in England for their clubs or travelling around the world.”
