Ruth Langsford: 'Completely untrue’ This Morning host addresses 'leaving job' for THIS

This Morning star Ruth Langsford, 59, responded to Twitter users who informed about her “attachment” to a brand called Pure Keto Premium. One fan said they saw an advert which claimed the presenter is leaving her job to run the company. They wrote: “I just came across it too Ruth and it does much more than that… it claims you are stepping down from all your TV presenting to run the company full time! The cheek.” Another fan sent her a screen shot of the product, asking her: “@RuthieeL what’s this all about?”

Ruth replied: “I don’t know Tony! Where did you see this? Other people have mentioned it to me but it appears to have been taken down now.

“If anyone sees this associated with my name it is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE….they are using my name without permission.”

Another added: “Well it was certainly convincing to me or maybe I am gullible.

“I have cancelled order and demanded a full refund. Watch this space.”

Ruth responded: “I’m so sorry Trish….honestly nothing to do with me. Where did you see the advert? I can’t find it anywhere x”

Others shared various screen grabs of the advert on Ruth’s post, claiming it had been reported.

Elsewhere, Ruth and Eamonn recently fronted show Channel 5 show Eamonn & Ruth: In Search of George Clooney.

The pair visited Italy and took a trip to Lake Como, in which George and Amal Clooney are famous residents.

The presenter shared various posts about the show and later joked she dreamed about having a coffee with the actor.

In a snippet from the show, Ruth commented: “Were we arrested??

“Find out on ‘Looking for George Clooney’ @channel5_tv 9.00 tonight!! #howtheotherhalflive #channel5.”

One Twitter user asked: “Well I hope you found him and he invited you for a coffee #GeorgeClooney.”

Ruth replied: “One can but dream!! x.”

Another commented: “Just watched The Search for George Clooney on catchup, very very good. What’s next ? Hope you’ve more lined up!”

A second wrote: “You two are hilarious! The perfect duo.”
