Camilla Parker Bowles and Prince Charles were photographed attending a church service at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Barbados today. The Duchess of Cornwall stepped out in a floaty, floral dress in the Barbados heat. The dress fell to her knees and featured three quarter length sleeves. A ruched effect around her waist added shape to the smart number.
The dress boasted a cowl neck – the drapes of which softened the material around Camilla’s neck.
Despite her chest and arms being covered by the dress, Prince Charles’ wife kept her legs bare.
On her feet, she wore beige flats – perhaps a more comfortable option after wearing wedges yesterday in Granada.
In her ears, the Duchess opted for her favourite everyday diamond pearl drops.
Camilla added a splash of colour to her wrist by wearing a turquoise bead bracelet which fitted snugly.
In her right hand, the Duchess of Cornwall held a Heidi Klein hand-woven raffia bag with natural bamboo handles and a suede tassel trim.
The £220 handbag was previously seen when she arrived in Barbados this week.
Prince Charles – who was photographed walking alongside his wife – wore a cream suit.
A shirt and tie could be seen underneath and a pocket handkerchief was tucked in his breast pocket.
Yesterday the royal couple were in Granada and attended an official welcome ceremony with the Prime Minister and Governor-General at Parliament.
Camilla wore a cream kaftan over white trousers, with silver shoes.
She clutched a parasol in one hand and wore the diamond and pearl earrings seen today.
Camilla Parker Bowles’ evil eye bracelet was a nod to an ancient tradition from cultures including parts of the Roman Empire, Islamic texts and Jewish literature.
The little amulet, which looks like a blue eye, actually wards off against the presence of the ‘evil eye,’ a curse.
