Lucifer season 4 spoilers: Lucifer’s death SEALED as fans spot fatal flaw?

Lucifer was thankfully saved by Netflix after being dropped by FOX and the fourth season is upon us.

However, could this series actually see the end of the Lord of Hell (played by Tom Ellis)?

Lucifer is known for his power and strength, but it seems he is actually fallible.

According to fans on Reddit, some clues from previous episodes seem to hint at a major flaw in Lucifer’s being.

mtorres266 wondered if Lucifer could be killed by a human and wrote: “Obviously with the sword yes, but what I mean is without it, only things a human would have access to, so no divine beings helping him or any diving objects, or the detective being nearby.”

The Reddit user continued: “You remember that episode where Lucifer was trapped in steel?

“He punched it and couldn’t get out so he is not omnipotent, so what if a human built a device that basically hit Lucifer with an intense amount of force, like a nuke or some sort of suit that hits with an intense amount of force.

“Do you think something like that could give a human an advantage on Lucifer?”

But who would construct such a device? There’s one woman who would certainly bring about Lucifer’s death: Chloe Decker (Lauren German).

marcus_gideon commented: “If Chloe is around, then sure he can be killed. If Chloe isn’t around, then no.

“The problem with being locked in the steel room was that it would take a very long time to punch his way out. But he could have done it, just not in time to finish the case.

“Hitting him with something heavy would only knock him down. Blowing him up wouldn’t leave a scratch.

“Dropping a building on him would just mean he needs to dig himself out – but he’d be fine the whole time in doing so.”

Will Chloe be the one to kill off her on-off lover, Lucifer?

Meanwhile, there’s some debate about when Lucifer season four will actually be released on Netflix.

A fan tweeted @SeeWhatsNext, a Netflix-run Twitter account which discusses new releases about when people will be able to see the new episodes.

The response didn’t give away too much, but did give fans a tantalising hint.

The account shared: “The date OF the date announcement will only make sense in retrospect.”

Although not major information, fans became convinced Lucifer will be released on May 10, which is the date Lucifer was cancelled last year.

Lucifer will air on Netflix later this year.
