James Jordan: Dancing On Ice star makes HUGE announcement after win with wife Ola

James Jordan, 40, has kept relatively quiet about his plans following his big win on the ITV series Dancing On Ice 2019 and now the former Strictly Come Dancing star has taken to Twitter to reveal some exciting news. In view of his 252,000 Twitter followers, James retweeted a post which read: “CASTING NEWS: We are delighted to announce that @The_JamesJordan & @The_OlaJordan will headline Jack & the Beanstalk @HarlequinTheat starring as Fleshcreep & the Spirit of the Beans.” The married couple will be taking to the stage to star in the pantomime Jack and the beanstalk later this year. Ola Jordan, 36, also tweeted the news and captioned the post: “Can’t wait,” followed by blush face emoji.

James figure skating partner Alexandra Schuaman responded to the tweet, saying: “Whoop, whoop”.

Fans rushed to comment on the pair’s latest project, as one person said: “Oh wow how brilliant you will be great as they say on the world of stage “Break A Leg” but not literally. Good luck you will love it “Oh No You Won’t” ha ha.”

Another person replied: “Awww you’ll be amazing guys … congratulations.”

While a third person added: “Good luck guys, you’ll be fantastic.”

This comes after the star had previously teased projects with his wife Ola but said a Strictly Come Dancing return was out.

The couple who wed in 2003 both appeared on the dancing competition as professional dancers but have since exited the show.

The professional dancer said he wants to “use my mouth” in his next career move, after suffering a number of injuries in the ITV skating competition.

In an interview with this week’s OK! Magazine, he opened up on what his plans are following being crowned a champion.

When asked if fans will see him on Strictly again, James did not leave people in any doubt after exiting back in 2013.

“I don’t think my body would take it. I pushed myself to the limit on DOI,” the married star stated.

He continued: “If there’d been another week, I don’t think I’d have been able to do it. You have to know when to hang up your dance shoes.

“Ola and I still do corporate events.”

Speaking about their upcoming plans, he said: “We have things in the pipeline. She’s still judging Dancing With The Stars in Poland.”

Meanwhile, James is still recovering from a shoulder injury which saw him miss the final rehearsal on the ice.

When questioned on what he’d like to once he is fully recovered he seemingly appeared adamant it would not be with his body.

He said: “Something where I can use my mouth rather than my body – maybe presenting.”
