Coronation Street spoilers: Sally Webster to be found guilty for Rana Habeeb’s death?

Coronation Street aired one of the most harrowing deaths to date on the ITV soap.

It was all because of the factory collapse following on from Pat Phelan’s (played by Connor McIntyre) dodgy labouring.

On Wednesday night’s thrilling double-bill, viewers watched on in horror as poor Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) was trapped under loads of rubble.

Sadly, she couldn’t be rescued and she died in the arms of Kate Connor (Faye Brookes) as it was supposed to be their wedding day.

Now, Coronation Street will be plunged into a “whodunnit”, but could someone innocent be found guilty?

Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) almost lost her own life in the accident when she fell from a great height.

However, it is believed she will pull through after fighting for her life in hospital and will feel nothing but guilt over the death of Rana.

The actress told The Sun how Sally thinks everything is her fault, considering she was the one who fell through the roof, compromising the structure, and sending it all toppling.

Sally said: “It’s not until much later when someone in the pub says, ‘it can’t have been that one thing’, and Sally starts to think, ‘Oh it can’t have just been me falling backwards’.

“But until that moment she’s feeling incredibly guilty.”

Thankfully, Sally realises it isn’t her fault after working out something so big couldn’t have possibly been caused by her.

She turns her back well and truly on Carla Connor (Alison King) who owns Underworld Factory.

Sally works out her boss surely had something to do with the accident, and it’s true, Carla did know the roof was dodgy.

But she was in the process of getting it fixed, so would Carla really be found guilty of Rana’s death?

Officially, Coronation Street have named six suspects for the roof collapse, and Carla is included.

She is joined by new villain, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), who has been acting shifty of late – and his brother, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) thinks he is guilty as well.

Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) is also in the limelight, but would he really hurt his former lover like that?

Someone who would want to hurt Carla is Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill), who is blaming her for his break up with Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh).

Or could Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) and Gary Windass’s (Mikey North) feud have spilled out on to their construction site as they are both also suspects?

Coronation Street continues tomorrow on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
