P20 Pro set for a radical update next week and this leak may have just revealed all

The countdown to Huawei’s big P20 Pro upgrade is now well underway.

This new phone, called the P30 Pro, will be unveiled at a global event in Paris and we’re expecting to see some radical changes.

Although not confirmed, it looks almost certain that the P30 will arrive with a faster Kirin 980 processor, bigger battery and the clever reverse wireless charging found on the Mate 20 Pro flagship.

That’s what could be under the hood but a new leaked image may give fans a seriously good look at the outside of this new phone.

Coming via Mobile Fun, the set of new photo reveal a range of P30 Pro cases but the images also reveal a huge amount about this upcoming device.

Perhaps the biggest treat will be the new quadruple rear camera which looks set to grace the back panel of this phone.

It’s unclear exactly what all those lenses will do but expect plenty of photography tricks when the device is announced next week.

Other features that are clearly visible in the leaks include a fully edge-to-edge screen with a small teardrop notch at the top of the display for the front-facing camera.

Another thing you may notice is that there is no sign of the fingerprint scanner which suggests that Huawei is going to embed this sensor under the screen.

The Mate 20 Pro already includes this technology so it would make sense for the P30 to follow.

We’ll have to wait and see if these latest leaks are real but there’s not long until we find out more.

Huawei’s big launch is taking place on March 26 in Paris.

All the news will be revealed during this keynote and expect plenty of devices to be revealed with the possible unveiling of some new wearables.
