Samsung Galaxy S10 UPDATE: Next phone set to have one BIG feature missing from S10

Samsung has only just released the Galaxy S10 but the South Korean tech giant looks set to launch another brand new smartphone soon.

The official Samsung Mobile Twitter account is teasing a new smartphone launch is on the horizon.

On April 10 ‘a Galaxy event’ will take place which is believed to be where the Galaxy A90 will get unveiled.

The expected Galaxy A90 launch follows hot on the heels of the A10, A30 and A50 reveals last month.

These models, which are on sale in India, boast Samsung’s Infinity-V display – which houses the front facing camera in a waterdrop notch.

This is compared to the new Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ models which use the Infinity-O display tech.

With this display the selfie camera is located in an O cut-out in the top left hand corner of the screen.

But Samsung’s next smartphone could do away with any kind of intrusion into the viewing experience entirely.

It’s believed that the Samsung Galaxy A10 will feature the New Infinity Display.

While other Samsung Infinity displays have tiny O, U or V shaped bezels to accommodate the selfie camera, the New Infinity doesn’t.

It’s an all-screen display and is expected to debut on the upcoming Galaxy A90.

Late last year noted Russian tech journalist Eldar Murtazin claimed the A90 and A70 would be the first devices to feature the New Infinity display.

It’s believed the front facing camera will be housed in a pop-up camera.

The upcoming new Samsung phone reveal will be streamed live on samsung.com.

The news was revealed by the Samsung Mobile Twitter who posted: “Enter the era of live. April 10, 2019 – Live on http://www.samsung.com #SamsungEvent”.

Alongside the tweet was a teaser image which showed three screens and a skateboarder moving across the displays.

It’s led to speculation that three new Samsung phones could get unveiled during the upcoming event.

Asides from the A90, these other devices could either be the Galaxy A60, A70 or the Galaxy A40.
