WWE RAW PREVIEW: John Cena WrestleMania update, Ronda Rousey status, Brock Lesnar returns

Brock Lesnar returns

Seth Rollins won the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and picked Universal Champion Brock Lesnar as his WrestleMania opponent.

Rollins made that decision after Lesnar destroyed him with a whopping six F5s on the night after the Royal Rumble.

The Beast will make his first appearance ever since that night and is set for an intense confrontation with his challenger.

Kurt Angle major announcement

Kurt Angle announced last week in his hometown of Pittsburgh that he will retire after WrestleMania 35.

Angle will reveal his final opponent tonight on RAW.

Rumours suggest he will wrestle his retirement match against John Cena.

Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre brutalised Roman Reigns with a sneak attack last week on RAW.

McIntyre then defeated Dean Ambrose in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after stabbing the ex-WWE Champion in the eye with a pencil.

Seth Rollins will look to exact revenge for his Shield team-mates tonight when he takes on The Scottish Psychopath one-on-one.

Ronda Rousey vs Dana Brooke

Ronda Rousey’s heel turn is in full swing as she has brutalised her rival Becky Lynch, lashed out at the WWE Universe, insulted professional wrestling and also took out her frustrations on WWE officials.

Dana Brooke took exception to Rousey offending WWE and challenged her for the RAW Women’s Championship last week.

Instead, the UFC Hall of Famer bludgeoned Brooke and stroke a WWE official and that got her fined.

Tonight, Brooke will get her title shot but The Baddest Woman on the Planet will definitely win and go on to battle Lynch and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.

Mystery partner

Bobby Lashley regained the Intercontinental Championship last week from Finn Balor with the help of Lio Rush.

Rush rang the bell at ringside just when Balor was ready to finish Lashley off with the Coup de Grace.

The distraction cost The Demon who lost after suffering a Spear midair.

The Irish megastar will look for revenge when he faces Lashley and Rush in a Tag Team Match with a partner of his choosing.

Will he pick one of the NXT call-ups like Ricochet or Aleister Black?

Beth Phoenix return?

Beth Phoenix was attacked by Nia Jax and Tamina at Fastlane when she tried to stop their assault on WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Natalya tried to save her friend and fellow WWE legend from the beatdown but was levelled by The Samoan Slaughterhouse.

Phoenix and The Queen of Harts, though, got some revenge last week as they beat up Jax and Tamina on RAW.

WWE are hinting a potential in-ring comeback for the WWE Hall of Famer and she could go on to battle for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.

No Holds Barred

Triple H agreed to battle Batista at WrestleMania 35 two weeks after the latter assaulted their mentor Ric Flair on his 70th birthday.

The Game, though, made this fight a No Holds Barred Match that will see both WWE legends taking each other to the limit.

Triple H and Batista are not scheduled to appear tonight but they could continue their feud in Chicago.
