Ivanka Trump BOMBSHELL: First Daughter's biographer speaks out ahead of book release

Author of “Kushner, Inc”, Vicky Ward has labelled the pair as being abusive towards White House staffers and at potential threats to their influence. In the book, which has been widely denounced as fictitious by Mr Kushner’s representatives, Ms Ward dismissed the idea of the couple having any influence on Donald Trump. She also reveals that they are “obsessed with public relations” and labelled the pair as only going into politics for their own self-interest.

Ms Ward said in an interview with ABC: “Jared and Ivanka famously don’t like it if people don’t say great things about them.

“This White House is known for knocking down anyone who reports about it and I think Jared and Ivanka are obsessed with public relations, you know, more than anyone else.

“I think that most people go into government for public service. I think Jared and Ivanka have gone into self-service.”

Following Ms Ward’s inflammatory remarks, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders released a statement calling the book “fiction”.

She also added: “It’s sad, but not surprising, the media would spend time promoting a book based on shady anonymous sources and false information instead of all the incredible work Jared and Ivanka are doing for the country.”

Mr Kushner also responded by releasing a statement as he attacked Ms Ward for creating a piece of fiction.

Writing that the book “is fiction rather than any serious attempt to get the facts”.

In response to the pair’s comments, Ms Ward remained steadfast in her opinion while also insisting that she wasn’t surprised by what they had said.

She added: “I wasn’t expecting them to turn around and say, ‘oh, she makes some good points’.”

The news comes as both Ivanka and Jared both received top security clearances from her father.

Both serve as a White House advisor and received their clearances last summer despite drawing scrutiny from the Democrats.

Last month, Republican Elijah Cummings announced that he was launching an investigation into the White House and the Trump transition team security clearance process.
