F1 Australian GP live stream – WATCH Formula One Grand Prix from Melbourne online

Lewis Hamilton blasted straight back with the first pole position of the year.

The Brit racer lines up alongside his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, on the front row of the grid.

Despite many thinking that Ferrari would have the best cars on the track, it was Mercedes who appear so much faster than their rivals.

The Italian team could only manage 3rd and 5th of the grid with Max Verstappen in 4th.

Speaking after his pole Lewis Hamilton said: “I’m shaking it was so close out there.

“From testing we had no idea where we would be. We were hoping to be where we are. Valtteri did an exceptional job. It was very close.”

And Bottas added: “The first lap was very nice, I really enjoyed that. Not quite enough for pole unfortunately, but look forward to tomorrow.”

It’s an early start tomorrow for fans with the Race getting underway from 5.05am.

So if you want to watch all the action here’s how to tune in online.
