April the giraffe, a live stream sensation, is preparing to give birth once more. She is now about to give birth to her fourth calf. So far, keepers at her home in the Animal Adventure Park have confirmed she is giving birth, and giraffe hooves are visibly protruding. Now it is a matter of time until April gives birth to a bouncing baby giraffe.
April the giraffe is now giving birth to her fourth calf, just a year and a half after her last calf Taj in 2017.
The event is already being watched by hundreds of thousands of people, as the beloved animal captured the hearts of millions when she last gave birth.
Now, there are already 264,980 people watching the live stream, and posting about the incoming baby.
One commenter said: “When Taj was born I am pretty sure it was a Saturday as well!
“So glad this is happening on the weekend so that I can watch live!!!”
Animal Adventure Park has been keeping a keen eye on April as she prepared for her birth.
The posted an update to Facebook as April began to show the signs of labour.
The update read: “1:00 am eastern (5am GMT) April began to spend much more time cleaning and stimulating her back end.
“The behaviour continues at this time”
