Louise Redknapp shares cryptic post after breaking her silence on split with Jamie

Louise Redknapp shared a poignant snap about getting over “what is behind you” on Instagram just weeks after discussing her relationship with former spouse Jamie Redknapp. The 9 to 5: The Musical star uploaded a photo bearing the words: “Don’t trip over what is behind you.” When she posted the image on the photo-sharing website she told her 608,000 followers the day would be full on “positivity”. “Positive vibes today keep working hard,” the 44-year-old former Eternal singer captioned the photograph.

Her sentiment seemed to go down well with many of her fans as they rushed to the comment section to praise the star and encouraged her to persevere with her endeavorers.

One person wrote: “Keep going. Massive fan, Cabaret was phenomenal,” as another exclaimed: “Yes! I love this!”

A third admirer remarked: “All about the present and future,” while another said: “This is a great quote thanks, Louise. I often struggle with the past but onwards and upwards.”

Someone body else penned: “Louise you’re rocking perfect positivity, pretty lady have a great day!”

Interestingly, someone else shared: “We strong single ladies good things will come your way.”

Louise previously opened up about her relationship with her former partner, Jamie, admitting their separation had been “really tough”.

During an appearance on Heart FM the TV personality revealed she and the retired footballer still get on well and are dealing with their split maturely.

“It’s been really tough,” the pop star lamented. “But I mean, you know, he’s my best friend.”

Speaking to hosts Jamie Theakston, 48, and Lucy Horobin, 39, last month, she added: “It’s been really tough but things happen.

“I saw him yesterday and it was all good,” Louise Redknapp added. “We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”

“A mature way of dealing with things,” Lucy chipped in, to which Louise replied: “Absolutely.”

Jamie Redknapp, 45, and Louise divorced a year ago after announcing their split following months of rumours their marriage was on the rocks.

They had been married for 19 years, welcoming two sons – Charley and Beau during that time, and tied the knot in 1998.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has thrown herself into work following their separation.

She starred in the West End show Cabaret in 2017 alongside British singer-songwriter Will Young and received rave reviews for her performance as Sally Bowles.

Louise was due to perform in the musical 9 to 5 earlier this year, but had to pull out due to an injury; she will take to the stage later this month.
