Steph Curry mocks Warriors star DeMarcus Cousins in hilarious moment during Rockets win

The Warriors were 37-30 up on the Rockets at the time, after Curry exploded with 13 points in the first quarter.

The point guard has been in somewhat of a shooting slump recently, having failed to score more than 30 points in his last four games.

The Warriors suffered an embarrassing defeat on Sunday night, as they were soundly beaten by the Phoenix Suns, who have a record of 16-52.

And against the Rockets they were much more impressive, starting off with a 33-23 first quarter.

Despite a comeback from the Rockets, the Warriors held on to secure a 106-104 win.

They are now looking like a sure bet to secure the No 1 seed in the NBA’s Western Conference.

Golden State were in a good situation at the end of the first, and as a result made multiple rotations, putting Curry on the bench.

Whilst he was not missed too badly on court, as Klay Thompson picked up the distance shooting responsibilities, one Warriors star clearly didn’t notice that he was off the court.

Whilst charging towards the basket, DeMarcus Cousins fired a pass to his left as he saw a Warriors jersey, however he had seen Curry stood up in front of the bench and not actually on court.

The point guard got in on the fun, as he jumped up and attempted a three-pointer from the bench.

The shot bounced off the rim as Curry sat down again and the crowd erupted with laughter.

Curry was forced to put on a long-sleeved grey top afterwards.

The Warriors were missing Kevin Durant for the game in Houston, but seemed to be coping without him as Cousins scored 27 points in the win.

Durant is still recovering from an ankle injury, and with the Warriors comfortably leading the West, there is no reason to rush the superstar back.

Next up for Golden State is Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night.
