In unconfirmed footage shared widely on Twitter, rockets can be seen shooting into the sky over Tel Aviv. The Israeli military is reporting that air-raid sirens are signalling in southern Isreal, meaning new rockets are firing to of the Gaza Strip. According to reports, the fire came in response to Israeli airstrikes which were launched following an earlier attack on Tel Aviv.
Hamas has denied any involvement in the rocket strikes.
A statement by the Hamas armed wing said it was “not responsible” for the firing of the rockets tonight toward the enemy.
The statement added that the administration vowed to “take measures” against those behind it.
RT reports Israeli aircrafts bombed the Gaza Strip following two rockets were allegedly fired from Tel Aviv.

Israel Defense Forces tweeted: “We have just started striking terror sites in Gaza.
“Details to follow.”
The attacks are the first since the 2014 war in Palestine.
Reports suggest that the incident has been taking place as Hamas leaders met with Egyptian delegates about trying to secure a long-term ceasefire with Israel.
There have been no reported casualties during the attacks.
Speaking on Israel Radio, military spokesman Brigadier-General Ronen Manilas said: “This was basically a surprise.
“We don’t know who carried it out.
“The Hamas organisation is the main organisation in the Strip.
“It is responsible for what happens within the Strip and what emanates from it.”
The US condemned today’s attacks.
Steny Hoyer, the majority leader of the US House of Representatives, tweeted: “Hamas and its Iranian patrons must not be permitted to threaten the peace of Israel’s cities and communities.
“Today’s unprovoked and heinous attack demonstrates why US-Israel security co-operation is so important.
“These attacks also show why Congressional support for systems like Iron Dome are so critical.
“I will continue to work with Congress to ensure robust, bipartisan support for Israel’s defence.”
