Captain Marvel has opened in cinemas and now all eyes are on next month’s Avengers Endgame. And it goes without saying that this is the most secretive movie ever made. The two brief teasers keep fans guessing in terms of the plot. However, a new synopsis on Atom Tickets teases that Captain Marvel and Ant-Man are key in defeating Thanos.
Avengers Endgame’s synopsis reads: “Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved.
“Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.
“Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch?
“The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man.”
It added: “Avengers Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it.
“When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”
While it’s unclear if this is an official synopsis or just the outlet’s own version, there is little surprise that Captain Marvel and Ant-Man are key in Avengers Endgame.
After all, it’s no coincidence that the two solo movies set prior to, and released in-between, Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame were Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel.”
