Paris Jackson: Michael Jackson’s daughter 'smokes weed' after Leaving Neverland statement

Paris Jackson, 20, took to Instagram to upload a short clip of herself as she lit up what some believe to be drugs before blowing smoke into the camera in front of her 3.4 million followers. This comes a few days after Leaving Neverland aired which featured Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck, 40, who have made sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson, who died in 2009. Taking to Twitter this week, Paris told fans to be “calm” and to not act out of rage. In view of the 1.32 million followers, she wrote: “I didn’t mean to offend by expressing that t**ties should be calm, I know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up.

“But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also…. it feels better to mellow out.”

She has not commented on the claims, although she later tweeted: “Smoke some weed and think about the bigger picture. Chill my dudes.”

This comes after the model and actress hit out at a publication who claimed she had released a statement regarding the documentary.

Gay Star News reported she had said she doesn’t believe new claims that her dad was a sexual abuser.

They also included that she was “concerned” the documentary “may ruin her chances of success as a performer”, referencing an article from The Sun.

An insider told the latter: “Paris had hoped to launch a successful career in acting but fears Leaving Neverland has ruined her chances of it taking off.

“She was in a movie last year but believes the documentary is already scaring directors away because the abuse her father is accused of may put movie goers off her.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Paris wrote: “I actually haven’t made any statements yet, especially regarding how it affects my work life.

“You guys are reaching a bit. At least this wasn’t a disgusting and attacking article though.”

She later tweeted: “Y’all take my life more seriously than I do. Calm yo t**taaaaysss.”(sic)

Several members of the Michael Jackson family have spoken out against James Safechuck and Wade Robson in recent days via interviews and on social media.

The family have vehemently denied any allegations made against the popstar, previously saying: “Michael always turned the other cheek, and we have always turned the other cheek when people have gone after members of our family – that is the Jackson way.

“But we can’t just stand by while this public lynching goes on…Michael is not here to defend himself, otherwise these allegations would not have been made.

“We are furious that the media, who without a shred of proof or single piece of physical evidence, chose to believe the word of two admitted liars over the word of hundreds of families and friends around the world who spent time with Michael, many at Neverland, and experienced his legendary kindness and global generosity.”

Meanwhile, former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, Roxanne Pallett broke her silence on social media in support of the singer.

Taking to Instagram star shared a picture of the late Michael Jackson.

The snap showed the King of Pop back in his hey day, which she captioned: “’Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on the TV screen, don’t make it factual’.”

Alongside the black and white snap, she added the hashtags: “#mjinnocent #mjfam.”

A source told the MailOnline: “Roxanne has been off the grid, shutting down everything in her life including work offers, and social media so she could privately treat her PTSD and panic disorder in EMDR therapy.

“However, as a lifelong Michael Jackson fan she was crushed at the backlash her idol was getting so she defiantly reactivated her Instagram account to defend and support him.

“She’s been an MJ fan since she was young and grew up to his music and so she just wanted to voice support for the Jackson family.”
