UFO-hunter Scott Waring claims to have come across an “alien human-like face” in one of NASA’s many pictures of the Red Planet. The popular conspiracy theorist, who runs the website UFOSightingsDaily.com, said he made the discovery alongside dozens of other alien artefacts. The bizarre photo in question was snapped by NASA’s robotic Curiosity lander and was shared online on March 4 this year. In the photo, Mr Waring said he can clearly see a face wearing some sort of hat or headdress.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, Mr Waring said: “Well that is just really amazing to me.
“It’s really amazing that these objects can exist here on Mars and yet they totally go overlooked.”
Analysing NASA’s photo, the conspiracist said he also spotted some sort of writing on a rock next to the “alien face”.
In another part of the photo, he pointed to an unremarkable cluster of rocks claiming they look like some form of alien housing or structure.

Mr Waring then spotted “all kinds of anomalies” and objects “that don’t look normal” in other parts of the photo, stressing the rocks presented are “a whole lot of something”.
On his website, the UFO-hunter explained: “I found that not only was there one alien human-like face, but there was actually dozens of other giant artefacts that I had not noticed before.
“There were several large faces on the top of the hill, most looking out or up at the sky.
“This tells me they were all placed there on purpose. None were upside or fallen over.”

He then said he found a “cyborg face” buried in the Martian soil, which he has never come across before.
Mr Waring said the bizarre find was the most “exciting” alien discovery yet because it proves ancient Martians integrated with robot technology.
The UFO-hunter underlined he was simply “blown away” by the scale and number of discoveries made in the photo.
His revelations come after another conspiracy theorist has claimed to have found a giant alien statue on Mars.
But could these alien discoveries be genuine artefacts left behind by ancient aliens or is something else at play here?
The most likely case is Mr Waring fell pray of a peculiar mind trick known as pareidolia.
Pareidolia is a well known psychological phenomenon, which causes people to see faces, shapes and patterns where they do not exist, such as faces and structures on Mars.
NASA explained: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognisable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
