Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd eyeing £120m bid, Mourinho on Chelsea return, Bale to Arsenal?

09:50 UPDATE: Mourinho open to Chelsea return

Jose Mourinho is open to returning to Chelsea.

“I wouldn’t have a problem going back to Madrid, Porto, Chelsea, Inter or any team that I have managed,” he said.

Mourinho has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United last December.

Since axing the Special One, United are flying under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

09:25 UPDATE: Solskjaer revelation

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he isn’t sure whether he’s under contract with Norwegian club Molde amid claims he will take over at Manchester United permanently.

“I’m not quite sure how it works,” he said.

“I think the contract has expired and that now I only have contract with Manchester United. There may have to be another contract for that [return to Molde].

“Let’s see what it says here. No, I am…”manager of Molde”- It’s not what I am doing at the moment, but the plan is to go back there.”

08:55 UPDATE: Liverpool exit

Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi is a target for Bundesliga outfit Schalke.

Goal claim the German side have approached the Reds over the 21-year-old.

Schalke contacted Jurgen Klopp directly, with Liverpool demanding around £10m for the striker.

Awoniyi is currently on loan at Belgian side Mouscron, where he has scored six goals in seven games.

08:30 UPDATE: Man Utd want Dybala

Manchester United are readying a £120m move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

The Sun claim the Red Devils will move for Dybala if Romelu Lukaku leaves this summer.

United scouts have watched the Argentina striker closely over the past couple of seasons.

And Old Trafford transfer chiefs feel Dybala will take United to the next level and challenge for the Premier League title.

08:00 UPDATE: Bale to Arsenal backed

Arsenal would suit Gareth Bale more than any other Premier League side, talkSPORT presenter Adrian Durham claims.

“He’s won nothing in the English game and I think this summer is the time to get yourself back here, go to a club that’s going to win something, i.e. not Tottenham Hotspur, and win things in the English game, really drive a club forward,” Durham told talkSPORT.

“Whether it be Liverpool or a Manchester United. It would be such a tap in to go to Manchester City and join what they’re doing.

“I don’t necessarily think Pep [Guardiola] would want him, I think he might go with younger players, I might be wrong.

“It would be a bit deceitful really to go to Chelsea if you’re Gareth Bale, think of the Tottenham connection there.

“It’s impossible, surely isn’t it, to go to Arsenal. But Arsenal fit the bill, he should be going to a club that he can make a difference, that club that needs to be pushed over the line.

“That’s why I’m talking about a Liverpool, that’s why I’m talking about a Manchester United, it would be an Arsenal. But could he go there, really?”

07:40 UPDATE: Mourinho on Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho has hinted he’s improved since he was last at Real Madrid amid rumours he could replace Santiago Solari at the Bernabeu.

“I’ve got an overall great memory of my time there,” Mourinho told Spanish TV channel Cuatro.

“To work for Real Madrid has been a unique experience, different from any other I’ve had, and I’ve had many.

“We’ve done fantastic things. We won La Liga… We had bad times, I probably made mistakes, but I improved a lot as a coach and as a person after that experience.

“Now I’m open to even work in a country that I’ve never worked before, to try out a different culture and win a league in a fifth different country. But I’m calm now.”
