Queen Letizia of Spain steals the show in bold red ensemble at Madrid award ceremony

Queen Letizia of Spain, 46, attended the Princess of Girona Foundation Awards 2019 today in Madrid.

The stylish royal, who has a very modern take on royal fashion, wore a red ensemble for her most recent engagement.

Her Majesty arrived in a chic red trouser suit with colour co-ordinating scarlet heels and handbag at the San Francisco cultural centre.

Her tailored suit jacket showcased her slim figure while her trousers, which featured small darts at the ankle displaying her pumps, gave the appearance of flares as she walked.

Queen Letizia wore her hair in a stylish blow dry for the occasion in a slightly off centre parting and enhanced her natural beauty with glamorous make-up featuring lashings of mascara and pink eyeshadow.

The royal finished off her look with some sparkly earrings.

The mother-of-two, who is married to King Felipe of Spain, presided over today’s award ceremony and met with previous winners of the award.

She could be seen waving to the audience at the event and applauding the successful candidates.

Yesterday, the Queen of Spain attended the Rare Diseases World Day event in Madrid.

She wore a gorgeous grey checked dress for the occasion enhanced with black accessories.
