Naomi Campbell WALKS OFF in awkward Liam Payne interview after avoiding red carpet run-in

Naomi Campbell, 48, hid behind dark sunglasses and appeared hesitant when she approached the press on the red carpet at the event. And the model swiftly stormed off when a journalist asked her about her reported flame Liam Payne, 25. Swiftly after hearing his name, she interrupted saying: “Thank you so much,” before walking off, in a video obtained by The Sun. Ahead of the awkward chat, Liam and Naomi both walked the red carpet separately, avoiding a run-in.

The former One Direction star and Naomi also arrived without each other.

For her red carpet appearance, the catwalk queen opted for oversized dark sunglasses with a red midi dress, knee-length coat and black stilettos.

Liam sported a white shirt and smart black trousers along with a leather jacket.

In recent weeks, Naomi and Liam have been reported to be dating, but neither party has confirmed or denied this.

A source recently claimed the pair have been enjoying “mind-blowing” sex.

An insider told the publication: “He seems head over heels.

“Liam thinks she’s amazing and beautiful and has said their time together has been mind-blowing.

“He seems really into her and acting like he can’t believe his luck… He obviously likes a beautiful older woman.”

In another report from the publication, a source claimed Naomi has warned the One Direction star to stop being “clingy”.

The insider added: “Naomi has told Liam she is enjoying having fun, but that is all she is ready for at the moment.

“She has said she’s found him a bit too clingy and full-on and does not want a committed relationship at this stage.”

Elsewhere at the event today, Naomi shared an empowering statement with the crowd about achieving their dreams.

She told the crowd: “You are the worlds future. You are tomorrow’s leaders and YOU are going to make a massive difference. Your time will come …just be ready.”

When quizzed on what message she would have given to her younger self, she added: “Basically, just don’t give up on your dream.

“My mother always used to say to me, ‘you’ve got to try 110 per cent’, and that’s something that’s always been instilled in me.”

On her biggest challenge yet, she added: “I think getting the opportunity to learn skills and to get into the job that they really want to do, their passion.”
