Melania Trump SNUB: First Lady IGNORES Michael Cohen's apology about Stormy Daniels

During a congressional testimony last week Mr Cohen made a very public apology to Melania about his role in her husband’s affair with the adult film star. On Monday morning, as the First Lady embarked on a three-state tour to promote her anti-bullying “Be Best” campaign, she was asked by reporters if she would accept Mr Cohen’s apology. Melania, 48, ignored the question as she prepared to fly out from Washington, DC.

Speaking before Congress last week, Mr Cohen said he deeply regretted keeping the truth from Melania.

On Wednesday Mr Cohen testified that he had been instructed by the President to lie to the First Lady about his affair with Ms Daniels.

Ms Daniels alleged she and the President had sex multiple times beginning in 2006, a year after he married Melania.

The President has vigorously denied any affair.

Mr Cohen said: “He asked me to pay off an adult film star with whom he had an affair, and to lie to his wife about it, which I did.”

The former lawyer to the US president added: “Lying to the First Lady is one of my biggest regrets.

“She is a kind, good person. I respect her greatly. She did not deserve that.”

At the testimony Mr Cohen described a litany of unethical, unscrupulous, startling and in some cases illegal behaviour by the president.

Mr Cohen labeled a the US President a “cheat,” “conman” and “racist.”

In November 2018, Mr Cohen entered a guilty plea for lying to a Senate committee about efforts to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Then in December 2018 he was sentenced to three years in federal prison and is scheduled to report to prison on May 6, 2019.

But, Tennessee Republican Mark Green said of Mr Cohen, “he’s a fake witness and his presence here is a travesty.”
