All Together Now 2019: Viewers threaten to SWITCH OFF after show’s series two return

All Together Now returned this evening for its second season on BBC One.

Rob Beckett returned to the show as its host, as he and the fabled 100 professionals searched for this year’s finalists.

And Geri Halliwell also returned to her post as the head judge in the 100.

However as the competition continued to roll out its numerous performers, viewers quickly lost patience with the show.

Viewers began hitting out on Twitter about the show, with one writing: “Don’t like #alltogethernow sorry rubbish.”

While another added: “This is absolute s***e idk why I’m still watching #AllTogetherNow.”

And a third added: “Absolutely amazed #alltogethernow is back on. Especially with Rob Beckett.”

A fourth viewer seemed a little puzzled, and commented: “#AllTogetherNow Don’t totally understand the concept of this. Might not watch for long but there’s b****r else on.”

However there was certainly a lot of support for the show’s triumphant return.

Many viewers posted their elation at the return of All Together Now, with one writing: “#AllTogetherNow best programme on TV by a mile.”

Another agreed: “Love this program. Very cheesy but great fun #AllTogetherNow.”

There was also a lot of support for the incredible acts who took to the stage.

One exclaimed: “Boom! What great opening acts!!!! #AllTogetherNow.”

“#AllTogetherNow great fun for a Saturday night welcome back,” another viewer praised.

Geri recently spoke about the show’s return with Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2.

During the interview she said: “I’m very excited that the show is back.

“It’s quite flattering because you think, oh, people like it!

“Because the BBC’s quite fussy,” she continued. “So, for a show to come back for a second series says okay, it’s doing alright.

“And also the more you do something, the more confident you get at it and I think I’ve got firmer and Rob’s got funnier. He’s so funny.”

All Together Now continues Saturday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
