What time is Roger Federer vs Stefanos Tsitsipas in Dubai Tennis Championship final?

Roger Federer will take on Tsitispas in a rematch of their last 16 Australian Open battle back in January.

The Greek came out on top of that match, thwarting Federer’s attempts to win a 100th men’s singles title.

But in Dubai, the Swiss star will get his chance at redemption, as he looks to become just the second man to reach a century of singles titles, alongside Jimmy Connors, who sits on 109.

Federer has won 20 Grand Slams throughout his career, more than any other male player in history.

What time is Federer vs Tsitsipas?

The match will get underway at approximately 15:00 GMT.

The current champion is Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, who went out in the round of 16.

The final will be Federer’s 10th Dubai final, having won the tournament seven times previously.

Roger Federer match preview

Federer already knows the dangers that are posed to him by Tsitsipas, and will have learned from his damaging Aussie Open loss.

“Tsitsipas is tough to play, tough to beat,” he said.

“He showed me that at the Australian Open, how hard he is. Maybe the final is a little bit of a revenge match.

“Reaching 100 titles – we’re still far from it. I’m just going to try to focus and play good tennis.”

Tsitsipas, 20, beat Frenchman Gael Monfils to get to the final, having been a set and 3-1 down.

“The whole match changed out of nowhere,” he said.

“I’ve improved since last year. Beating the big guys, big players, players that have been in the top 10, it means a lot.”
